Sourcing City was launched in September 2004 & was Europe’s first online ‘Promotional Merchandise Sourcing Service’. Today the company is the clear UK market leader in online trade sourcing. Over recent years Sourcing City has created numerous innovative services, all of which were specifically designed to assist trade distributors & suppliers to grow their business.
Distributor customers who use Sourcing City on a daily basis collectively represent around 55% of the entire UK promotional merchandise market spend of c.£1.25 billion. Over 85% of distributor companies with a turnover in excess of £3m subscribe and use the service.
Every major UK supplier features their full ranges in Sourcing City, together with suppliers from Europe. The Sourcing City product database contains in the region of 100,000 individual promotional products from over 2500 suppliers, with the site generating in excess of 125,000 ‘Click Through Enquires’ per month for our supplier partners.
Sourcing City Platinum provides all of the features in Sourcing City, with the additional benefit of being powered by Dynamic Highway, which is fed directly with price & stock data from suppliers.

Data Sharing
Dynamic Highway was launched in February 2025. Dynamic Highway was the UK’s promotional merchandise industry’s first comprehensive data sharing platform.
The system takes live feeds of products with actual standard & individual special pricing, plus stock information, directly from industry suppliers to distributors.
The supplier data is shared to multiple platforms saving the time and cost of data collection for distributors, and data sharing for suppliers. Whilst product data is available from each supplier, Dynamic Highway is a central source for all supplier data. Creating efficient and commercially beneficial connections.
Dynamic Highway provides data to Sourcing City Platinum, 100+ Sourcing City Skin Sites, and feeds individual bespoke web sites.
Web Sites
Sourcing City Skin Sites provide trade distributor companies with a bespoke branded skin site using their own logo, colour palette and font.
The sites provide the distributor’s customers with the ability to find their own creative product ideas, or to view products to generate sales enquiries.
A skin site can either replace an existing site, or link to a current web site. Sourcing City Skin Sites provide natural web optimisation & are powered by the Sourcing City Product Database which contains in excess of 100,000 products.
Sourcing City Economy Skin Sites provide a cost effective option with fewer features than the main Sourcing City Skin Sites.
Sourcing City Platinum Skin Sites provide the most comprehensive option. Fed by Dynamic Highway, the Platinum Skin Sites contain live prices, individual prices, Catalogue Group prices (if applicable to the user), and real-time stock. Opening a world of possibilities for both distributors and suppliers.

Two major trade exhibitions are held each year:
Merchandise World in January is Exclusively for Professional Promotional Merchandise Distributors. Exhibitors come from the UK & Europe.
This trade exhibition is exclusive to the sales & administration teams, management, directors, & owners, from professional distributor companies.
Visitors predominantly come from the UK & Ireland, however visitors also come from Europe and as far as the USA. This is the place where new & hot promotional products are discovered, and valuable relationships created and reinforced.
This is a not to be missed event.
The January show remains exclusive to professional distributors, and no clients or end-users are invited or admitted.
Sustainable Merchandise World in September is predominantly a trade exhibition for Professional Promotional Merchandise Distributors. There is also the opportunity for distributors to invite & bring their top clients. Exhibitors come from the UK & Europe.
The event focuses on sustainability with the latest environmentally friendly, and other best-selling quality products, on show to the trade distributors and their invited clients. There are also specialist speakers on important sustainable topics.
This exhibition provides a unique opportunity for distributor clients to see into the professional world of promotional merchandise.
This show is strictly for professional trade distributors, and any clients they may wish to invite. Uninvited end-users cannot gain entry.

The Promotional Product Service Institute (PSI) is Europe's largest business network for the promotional products industry. More than 6.000 companies are current members of PSI which was established in 1960. PSI hosts the biggest international show for promotional items in Düsseldorf, Germany, which is also the home of their HQ.
